      (both commercial and residential).

     assistance or tax abatement agreements to the benefit
     of our clients.

     regional economic development corporations.

Our team is led by: 

      Michael Bracken

(Managing Partner/Chief Economist)

As Managing Partner of DMG, Inc., Bracken brings over twenty (20)
years of experience in the field of economics and economic development. Bracken holds a B.A. in Business Administration (Marketing) and an M.P.A. (Master’s of Public Administration) both from the California State University San Bernardino.  He also co-designed CSUSB’s Master’s level course
titled Management of Local Economic Development, which trains
economic development professionals in business recruitment and
effective use of financial and tax incentives.

Bracken brings a unique perspective to the field in that his
experience includes governmental (city economic development,
housing and redevelopment), regional economic development,
private development and community leadership (as a former City
Councilman and Vice-Chairman of a Community Redevelopment
Agency).

Bracken has served in various project management roles for three (3)
different cities in Southern California including Lancaster and Hesperia. 
His experience included various housing rehabilitation and development projects, redevelopment and economic development.  His experience also includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership where he successfully grew the organization’s annual budget three fold and assisted in bringing over $100 million of new economic growth to the region.

Finally, Bracken has been recognized by the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) for his regional economic development efforts and by The Desert Sun (Gannett) as being one of the 75 most influential leaders in the Coachella Valley.   He currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Community Valley Bank (based in El Centro, CA) and is a member of the Board of Governors for California State University San Bernardino.
